Insta-Week

I kinda lost track of time and missed insta-Friday so it shall be insta-week instead. With Matt home on summer break I can't keep up with the days of the week so it always feels like the weekend around here.

Anyways, here's a glimpse into our week through my iphone and instagram.

Little Miss was putting up a fight every time I wanted to put her hair up in a ponytail and with 100+ temps around the corner I knew I needed to find a solution to keep her cool...... so a cute little bob was the solution. Isn't it the cutest? She loves it and so do I!

I ended up cutting 4 inches off of my length and it feels so good. The picture below is right after my first trim and then I decided to go back and get more off. I didn't get a pic of the after, maybe next week.

Bubby got his first swim lesson in a big pool from Daddy. He was all smiles and giggles.

We went to movie in the park and lasted about 20 minutes into the actual movie. We made a good effort, brought plenty of snacks to satisfy Bubby but 9:30 is just too late for him and he was ready to go to bed. Little Miss on the other hand could have partied all night long.

Matt came to me the other night in the kitchen and asked me to time him while he downed a full glass of water. He's convinced that he can drink water faster than anybody in the world. It was at that point that I realized we are totally lame.
We booked our flight to Florida to go see my Dad and Sisters. So excited! Thanks to all of you who offered traveling advice.
I did our big time grocery shopping at the start of the week, came home, unloaded the groceries, looked at the clock(5:30pm) and realized I had nothing left to give and didn't want to make dinner. This happens to me every single time I go grocery shopping in the afternoon/evening. I never want to grocery shop AND make dinner the same night. And according to my Facebook friends neither do they. Modern day hunting and gathering is a lot of work. So I made a call to Pizza Hut and decided this will be my new plan of action on grocery shopping day.

I got some new running shoes and a new playlist. That does wonders for a workout. My new jams have me stopping at intersections to bust out some killer dance moves. Are there any new songs out there I should listen to? I'm always on the lookout.

Matt has been busy being Mr.Mom around here. He has cleaned out our heckofa junk drawer and dealt with bills and what not. He has called all the companies we use for services and asked them to lower their rates. 9 times out of 10 it has worked. If they want to keep us as customers they're going to need to fit in our budget. "Please" and "Thank You" go a long way....and so does, "What else can you offer?"
