Last week we celebrated our firstborn turning four. I can hardly believe it. Each birthday seems to arrive quicker than the last. There's something about my baby turning four that makes my Mama heart hurt. I can no longer escape the fact that she's growing up. She is becoming a little person with her own opinion, preferences and requests.
It was so fun to know that everything about this party was what she wanted. She has been dreaming this up for some time now and each night at bedtime she would tell me the same thing, she wanted a " Tangled-outdoor movie night, Strawberry Cupcake, Chocolate cake, Birthday party" and she got just that. I was so blessed by friends that made her cake and cupcakes and those that brought snacks for the party, it really lessened the load and made it possible. I also have to give a shout-out to my husband. That boy was making things happen from about 10am to 11pm. He was a total rockstar!











I love how quickly he joined her on the chair for present opening time.







These two are inseparable.







It was a perfect evening and celebration for our sweet little girl. I know she felt loved and celebrated. This full term pregnant Mama was taking a sigh of relief at the end of the night. Now our little Junebug is welcome any day now.
