{Two Months}

This past Saturday my sweet baby boy turned two months old. It really does seem like he has been here so much longer but when I look at his tiny little self I'm reminded how new he still is.

Here are some things I don't want to forget about this time. I failed to doculment the daily routine with Little Miss and it has left me guessing what I should do this go round so I'm trying to be better this time.

You wake up around 7-8 in the morning to have me to yourself just for a bit before your Sissy gets up.
Your ready for your morning nap around 10 and it doesn't last long because it's not a quiet house anymore or your sleeping in the stroller during our run at the park.
You are awake from about 10:45-11:45 and then you start to get fussy.
You take your long nap from 12:00 to 4:00.
You take another small nap from 5:45-6:30
From 6:30-8:00 your tired and fussy but not yet ready for bed.
Around 8:00-9:00 we have alone time again and work on getting to bed for the night.
You sleep until  2:00-3:00 and then you wake up for your feeding.
You need to have your bottom patted after feeding before you go back to sleep.
You wake up for another feeding around 5:00 and sometimes 6:30, by 7 or 8 your ready to go for the day.
The crazy hours for the day are from 11:00-12:00  and 7:00-8:00.

You weigh 13 pounds.
Your in size 3-6 month clothing and a size 1-2 diaper.
You smile when I say "awww"
You still hate your carseat.
I was persistent with the swaddle blanket and now you love it! You kick your legs and fuss until I wrap you up in it and once your swaddled you fall asleep in no time.
Your not crazy about a bink but you will take one.
Your starting to drool.
Your grunting less, only as your waking up.
You sat in your Bumbo for the first time this week. Your can't totally support yourself but your trying.
You easily get hot...but we do live in Texas.
You really are the sweetest little baby.
Your content and go with the flow.
You love to cuddle and be close to us.
You are such a blessing!

Precious drooling smile and beautiful big blue eyes.

  1. Oh! So sweet! I know what you mean. It seemed like Levi had been with us forever even though he was brand new. I don't know what that quality is about the second born. It's like they've always been with you.

  2. I wish I could be there to pat his little bottom while he is going to sleep. It looks like he is getting lots of new hair on top. He is such a little sweetie. Nonnie & Paw Paw
