Painting for the first time

Bubby showed signs of wanting to join his Sissy painting the other morning so I let him join in. He usually doesn't like to be in his seat strapped down doing crafts. At this stage he'd rather roam the house leaving clear evidence of his existence. The thought of having him sit with us to paint for a bit sounded like a good idea to me. He loved it! It started about the same way that play-dough did...in his mouth but it didn't continue to make it to his mouth like play-dough does. When he plays with play-dough it ends with half the amount that we started with. Painting was fun!

This is his sign for "more please" he just wanted me to add more paint over and over again.

I will never tire of starring at those beautiful eyelashes.

Hope y'all have had a good week! Ours has been good and full of visitors and activity. Earlier in the week Nonnie came down for a visit, we sold our couch and then we went shopping for a new one. Do you have a couch that you would recommend? We want a high back, deep, soft and slip-covered. Not easy to find on a budget or at least I don't know where to look.

  1. Sorry, girl. I hate furniture shopping. TOo many options. My brain wants to explode. And I always find what I want in the expensive section. I wanted to tell you that your images are gorgoeus. Do you use any presets or actions? The colors are just fantastic!

    1. Thank you! No I don't use any presets on my blog pictures. I mostly use presets for my photography business and they are ones that I have adapted to fit my style.

  2. Hmm... I'm in the market for a new sofa too, but I haven't narrowed it down at all. Painting looks like a great indoor activity! I think I'll try it this week. Any advice on where to get paint supplies?

    1. I get almost all of my arts and crafts supplies at the dollar store. They send them there when they expire but nothing ever seems to be wrong with them.
