Christmas Part 1

I feel so behind on pictures so this might be one heck-of-a post series. We have had the greatest of times the last few days traveling to see family for Christmas. Little Miss is on a high from playing with cousins and opening gifts. She has been on the go since Thursday and there is still fun to be had.

Here are some of the pictures from our first Christmas gathering with Matt's family.

So this series of pictures cracks me up and is the perfect snapshot of my MIL. One of her many token phrases is, "stick a fork in me I'm done!" She says this after she's cooked dinner, while shopping, cleaning the dishes, and well for just about anything she's tired of doing. I love this little saying and needed it framed and displayed for her. A friend of mine offered to stamp the forks for me with her mother in laws new metal embossing machine, without her I couldn't have pulled it off.

So here she is opening her present without her glasses on and she can't see a thing.

In this first picture she has not a clue why I would give her a frame with a bunch of forks but she still said, "oh that's so cute!"

"Babe, I don't have my glasses on, I can't see a thing."

"Nonnie, it says, STICK-A-FORK-IN-ME-I'M-DONE"

Now she loves it for real.
