Yesterday morning when Bubby woke up for his early morning feeding I decided to lay him in bed next to me and cuddle for a while. It was pure bliss. I got to soak in that sweet baby smell, listen to his soft breath and press my face into his chubby cheeks. I seriously could not get enough of it.
This is one of those things that was common with Little Miss because she was the only reason I got up and going in the mornings. I rarely had something pulling me away from these moments with her. I knew that these moments were going to be harder to take hold of with the second baby now that I have a little girl calling for me in the other room but yesterday.....yesterday was a gift from the Lord and I pray I get to delight in it again and again.
