Quick Shout Out

I just wanted to share a new favorite of mine. I have long been on the hunt for a natural deodorant that was free from aluminum and parabens. Aluminum has been linked to breast cancer and Alzheimer's while parabens are found to be damaging to pregnant and nursing mothers. All in all I wanted no part of this dangerous chemical cocktail and set out to find a great alternative.

My first few options ended with me hiding in my closet rubbing on my "powder fresh" scent because Matt would not even want to kiss my face after putting on the kiss my face deodorant. Then my friend Lyns told me about this amazing deodorant.

I bought it almost ready for it to fail me. I put it on first thing in the morning thinking by lunch time I would need to go use my backup that puts some pretty over my stinky but you can still kinda smell the stinky.... but I didn't need it. Unlike my old deodorant this left me smelling great... like as in no scent at all.

I have been using it for some time now but found this product blog worthy because just the other day my husband know the one that won't try anything new used it on his own. He came home told me he had been working outside all day and didn't smell bad at all. He's the boy who slathered deodorant all over his body and he has now thrown aside his strong overpowering chemical filled deodorant for this Aloe and Almond.

You can buy it online or at an HEB that has a Central Market section or Whole Foods, Health Food Stores, you get the point.

The last thing I love about it is that it is made somewhat local as in Kerville, Texas. That makes me happy :)

I hope you give it a try and enjoy it!

  1. Thank you SO much for posting this. I have world's most sensitive underarms and they burn with the fire of 1000 suns all summer. I'm planning to buy some Aloe & Almond while we're in Texas this weekend. I'm going to call you soon to chat about a visit...
