So much has happened that I want to document on this blog and our little baby girl is getting bigger and bigger every day. I had wanted to back track and have all the events in the correct order but that just isn't going to happen right now and I want to get to it so I will post her earlier days at a later time.
When we found out that we would be having a summer baby we thought for sure that our summer days would be spent hanging out at the house the whole summer, and while we have done our fair share of hanging out we have also been on the move more than I thought I would be with a newborn. Just recently we went on an FCA retreat at Tapatio Springs in Boerne, Texas. We had such a great time getting to travel back to my old stomping grounds in the Texas Hill Country as well as visit my dear friend Kathryn. We were blessed to meet christian coaches across the state of Texas and were encouraged about the plans the Lord has for us in the ministry of coaching.
The following week we were back on the road again headed to Austin for this years coaching school. We stayed at the Four Seasons which is the first Five-Star hotel I have ever stayed in. When we arrived they somehow knew us by name and our room had a real crib in it fitted with adorable linens as well as a tray of fine baby lotions, soaps and creams. I could go on and on about how nice it was but I will just say that it was WAY out of our league. While we were at coaching school Matt would venture off to the convention while Arabelle and Mommy would stay in the room that overlooked Town Lake. Aunt Bec came to hang out with us both days and we had such a wonderful time with her. Now we are back home in Brenham and back to reality as Daddy is at work during the day and painting the house in the evenings.
