Insta-Friday

Our week captured with my iphone

Even when headed to the ER she still had to wear her boots.

Sissy loves for Bubby to "sit in lap." He doesn't look so little when he's in her arms :(

Little Miss carrying her babies in the ergo carrier.

When the hubby is gone for the night I always make something simple for dinner. Usually something "girly" that he would rather not eat like soup, salad, a special sandwich or maybe just a big bowl of cereal..(or two)...but this week I made a childhood favorite, black bean nachos with mozzarella cheese and sour cream. When we lived in Wimberley this is what I would order every time we ate at Cypress Creek Cafe.

I'm so thankful for the simple feather that my father in law includes in every carton of fresh yard eggs.

We made Paula Deen's Pumpkin Bars yesterday and they are delicious! I cut the frosting recipe in half and it was still more than enough.

The last home game of the season and it's finally football weather. I took advantage of the opportunity to snuggle my bug up on one of the many cute beanies Holly gave him. Little Miss called it "Bubby's ear hat."

Had a date last night with my ever growing pile of Gifts to Grow points. I feel like I deserve an extra 1,000 points for every tiny hard to read code I actually get correct. Why put a separate code on every wipe package? Just slap one sticker on the whole box and let's call it a day...mmmkay?

  1. Oh how I loathe typing in the codes for the pampers and huggies rewards... ;)

  2. I love the picture of your daughter wearing her baby doll! I have two little boys, and they love the wear the "baby" (a doll that we found at my parents house) around in the carrier. I love it!
