Reading

It makes this Mama smile at how much Little Miss enjoys reading. From a very young age a book is something you are sure to find in her possession. Lately she has begun to mimic Miss Lou Lou from story hour at our local library. Miss Lou Lou always starts story hour holding a puppet and then she leads into reading a book and sometimes that puppet makes an appearance again. Little Miss is captivated by the puppet reading the book. The other day I found Little Miss wearing a winter glove on one hand while holding a book in the other, she was reading out loud and had the book positioned outward, it took a moment for me to realize what she was doing and then it dawned on me...... she was having her own little story hour. Now that she has a little brother she enjoys any chance she gets to hold and read a book to him. Sometimes he gets a REAL close view of the book...but I think he likes it.

  2. Oh my goodness! That last picture. Melt!!!
I love how many kids have experienced Mrs. Lou Lou and love to copy her. Dylin was the same way. You have to make her a little felt hand puppet. She will love it!
