During term-time we run lessons for 'rusty Mums' or complete beginners. We have found that many parents, especially Mothers, have fond childhood memories of stable yards and riding, but perhaps are a little nervous of getting back into the saddle.

We take a light approach; of course sound instruction and safety is needed, but we like to make it fun too. Let’s face it, we are only having a bit of fresh air and exercise while the children are at school, not looking to aspire to Hickstead next year!!

If confidence is a problem, then we totally understand. Whether due to a previous riding incident, or just worried you have 'forgotten it all', then we can talk it through and often identify any problems in the first few minutes - practicing to get it right, might take a little longer!!

We run one to one lessons to 'get the legs back' as well as small groups of friends or those of compatible standard (maximum of 4). Hacking out is also an option for those getting more confident.
