Once a rider moves up to an hour’s riding lesson, and 7 years or older, then they can stay on at the Yard and help the Grooms and older girls. They are supervised and educated and must be prepared to understand safety issues. We make a small charge for this. Many girls learn huge amounts of stable management this way and several older girls have entered Equine College with ease.

HELPER RATES – £5 per 4 hour session on the day of the booked riding lesson(s). A Membership scheme is available to older, more capable girls for £100 per quarter which covers being at the Yard on any day, holidays included (but not riding).
