Christmas Recap {2013}

I'm so behind on posting, editing and organizing photos that I'm just now getting to Christmas and got overwhelmed at the thought of editing them in order to post them. That's when I decided I'd rather make sure to document the Christmas season than to wait for the time to edit and then post.

We had a full, busy and wonderful Christmas season. The days were filled with lots of indoor crafts and activities to keep the kiddos busy. We have been stuck indoors more than I would like so I tried to fill the time with crafting and being in the kitchen together. It's always so hard to make it happen and to keep things in order but it's so worth it when I look back on it. At the time it was not funny at all that Bubby squirted acrylic paint all over the table but the memory of the mess is slowly fading and all I have now is the memory of us spending sweet time together. I have had many meltdowns and I'm sure I will have many more before the first signs of Spring greet us.

Our Elf made his first appearance in the tree this year.

I just can't get over the cuteness of her clasped hands when she sleeps.

We made Grinch fruit treats and loved the process and the reward of snacking on them. Such a nice alternative to all the sweet treats.

The kids are obsessed with Monsters and Despicable Me so we worked both into the crafting time.

Christmas Morning!

Out of everything they were most excited about their mini can of Dr.Pepper.

and of course the hats

I have a confession to make. It was Christmas Eve when it hit me that I never even bought a gift for our third born, Junebug. Being the third baby she has everything and more than the other two had at her age so buying her something other than diapers just never crossed my mind. I knew that Little Miss would remind me every day of my life if I didn't get Junebug a gift so I was one of those people at Wal-Mart on Christmas Eve purchasing a gift. We got her a thermos cup that she can use once she is older. In true baby fashion she loved the packaging the most!
