Monday-Tuesday

It is a beautiful day here in Texas. We have been playing outside each and every day and are soaking up the daylight in the morning so that evenings aren't as challenging. It's so hard for me to adjust to this schedule. It seems like within 30 minutes of the kids waking up from naps it's already dark and then we are stuck inside. Can we do away with time changes? That's why we are making the most of our mornings! The kids recently discovered the adventures of climbing trees and found the perfect little fig tree in the backyard to play on. Bubby  is still too small to actually climb so he sits on the bottom portion of the limb that Little Miss climbs on and he loves to ride the tree as she shakes it. While we are outside we are also busy picking pecans before the squirrels get to them as well as watching the butterflies frolic in the zinnia patch. If I didn't have a calendar I'd say it feels like early Spring.

  1. great pics of your little boy and girl. They look like they are having a great time. I have always wondered how Arizonia got away with not having to do the time change lol. I have family there. My family and I are in Texas.

  2. We are totally doing the same thing! We've all been living it up outside, and then the girls have been crashing by 7 pm! It's great ;)

  3. That kitty cat says so much without saying a thing! What an expressive face he has. It has cooled off in Afghanistan now and I walk in the evening. No sweat and no dirt mixing with the sweat and smudging my uniform wiht sweat-mud!

  4. I love the pictures, as always. I love how Licorice has made himself part of the family lineup too. Love, Nonnie
