My little swimmer

You know just kicking it Olympic swimmer style today while watching some instant replays online and staying in character right up until bedtime.

I love this girl and her ability to get lost in the moment. It makes my heart happy to see her pretend play and learn something new about herself and possibly even discover a new passion. When I watch the Olympics I'm reminded that these athletes looked like any other two and three year old child. At that point in life their parents had no idea what they would become. It's awesome to think about the plans that the Lord has for each one of us. He gives each one of us a gift. My prayer as a parent is that I would raise my children with purpose and nurture the gifts God has blessed them with, whatever that may be.

  1. I really enjoy the pictures you post of your family. I love that people still spend "real" time with their kids & allow them to have a imagination! Such adorable kiddo's!
